Deployment Ceromony

Sunday was one of the dreaded Days for the upcoming deployment for me. When it comes about you know the leaving is close. And you have to face it. We are facing this deployment by just focusing on one day at a time trying to not concentrate on what tomorrow is bringing but on this Minute that we are together as a family. Don't get me wrong we have been preparing and planning but we both choose that while we are together to focus on just that and not let anything else damper the situation. Now don't get me wrong I have break downs and of course here lately more often than not. But we are focused on the fact that God already knows what tomorrow brings, He has it under control and has the best for us planned, and he will give us the Strength that we need to get through what tomorrow will bring. But tomorrow is coming way to soon for us.
So my goal for Sunday was to stay as busy as possible to get us through the day and to be strong!! So Sunday morning of course Zach had to leave about 0630 for drill. So My goal for the morning was to get MaKenna and me ready for church and to church. Which would be another check off our list of things we can get done by ourselves. We made it!! and Only 2 minutes late  for Sunday School. And might I add I remembered the Shower gift and Easter eggs and Candy that I had to take to church that day.
We left after Sunday School to come home to get ready for the ceremony. Which I thought would give us plenty of time. Well MaKenna Decided she wanted to be extra hungry and eat for a long time! So My be there 15 min early as I like to always be especially to a military event (b/c all who are familiar with anyone in the service know they get there 15min before the 15min early rule) Well my being early went out the window. We got in the car and well lets just say I didn't obey all traffic rules ( I might have exceeded the speed limit a little) But I decided I would just give the Mr policeman my sob story in hopes he would let me out of a ticket. On the way just about everyone in our party called wanting to know if I was there yet I had a little breakdown then but maintained my composer parked about a mile away from the building got my 15 bags and MaKenna in her Car seat and began the trek across the parking lot in My Heels! And we all know I don't do Heels. But I made it without breaking anything and walked in just as the Ceremony was starting.
We had a lot of Family come to the ceremony and are once again thankful of how blessed we are to have such support. Afterwards every one came to the house, and hung out for a little while.
Doesn't she look adorable in her red white and blue

Kathleen was being very patriotic as well

She was give out from all the visiting and past out in Poppa"s arms

One Month and Flea Market

Saturday MaKenna was officially One Month old! Zach had drill this weekend, which was just absolutely crazy and wrong in so many ways!!! Why in the world Uncle Sam do you need my husband for a full weekend when you already have in 10 waking hrs of every week day and in less than2 weeks you will have him 24/7 for a whole year. Can I not have One weekend with him. But I won't get on that tangent b/c no body wants to hear that and Certainly Uncle Sam doesn't care what I think. :). Sorry I have been in the Army life enough to know that is how it is you just deal with it. I just had to vent a little.
So Friday MaKenna and I went to do a little shopping since Daddy was flying all night. Because Mommy needed a new Dress for Uncle Ben and Aunt Cassie's wedding next weekend. I am still unable to fit into my prepregnancy Tops! I know I shouldn't be complaining I have always said I wanted a little more up top But I didn't know It would require me to by a whole new wardrobe. Well the shopping trip was unsuccessful in buying a dress. But I must say MaKenna and I are getting really good at the whole going out and shopping thing!
Then on Saturday She and I had a Mission to accomplish. Mommy and Daddy wanted to get Uncle Ben and Aunt Cassie this certain gift for there wedding and the only place to get it is at Santuck. In case any of you don't know Santuck is only the first Saturday in each month and is closed Jan and Feb. Last Month going to trade day the day after coming home from the hospital was out of the question. So this day was our only chance since they get married this week. So on Saturday off MaKenna and I went. We left about 0900 thinking traffic would have died down by that time since all the avid Flea Marketers get there around 0430. Well after driving 7 miles (the distance from my house to the Flea Market) and 2 hrs later we got there. (I told MaKenna the things we do for her Aunt and Uncle. We got there and completed our mission and bought a couple of other things for MaKenna, And Mommy knew it was getting close to time for MaKenna to eat and she had to go to the Bathroom. So we took a break at the car for her to eat and then headed home. The only problem with the flea Market was there wasn't any way for me to use the Bathroom with her. I contemplated going to the woods but couldn't find any that was secluded enough, b/c we all know for us country girls it isn't anything to find a place in the woods when you have too. But we made it home and just added that to the list of things MaKEnna and I can do by ourselves!

Our Lunch Break At Santuck

We Didn't get any really good photos And were going to take more later. But Didn't get around to It.

This is why we didn't get around to it!
