18 Months Old

1 Year and a half!! Wow I cannot believe our little girl is already 1 1/2 years old.  And boy is our little girl developing a vocabulary and a little personality. This has been an extremely fun month for me just watching MaKenna and the things she picks up. How she comprehends certain things amazes me every day.
     When we sit down at the supper table She looks at each of us and holds her hand out and says "Hand" then "pray" and she bows her head for a second and usually during the pray while still holding my hand she grabs her fork and sneaks a bit. I guess she thinks that if she is still holding my hand I don't know she is getting a bit. Then when she thinks the prayer should be over she says "Amen."
    We went to the park one day and after we were home she was trying to talk to me saying "par" she kept repeating it I said "Baby I can't understand what you are saying" She repeated "Par" and cut her eyes at me like you know what I am talking about momma. Then she said "elephant, slide" b/c we had played with and elephant and on the slide at the park. Which is what she was trying to tell me. I was amazed that she knew to put all that together.
 Zach was gone for the first half of August. And MaKenna would obviously ask for him frequently I would say Daddy's at work. So now if you ask her Where's Daddy she says "werk" Then she started calling for her Bff Addison when I ask her where she is. MaKenna replies "sckeel"
  She loves to color and play with stickers. And Lego's are one of her Favorite toys. She has started giving her stuffed animals something to drink and rocking her baby's Although we haven't quite gotten the gentle thing down. She tells the stuffed animals "night night" And then Slams them onto the pillow.

We went to the park and had a blast but our fun time resulted in swollen eyes and Zyrtec. Bless her heart she gets it from her Daddy.

We got the Stomach bug again!! Thankfully she didn't share it with Mommy and Daddy. I attribute that to a lot of prayers and A lot of Lysol and Clorox!!

Another sensory activity She is putting Cheerios onto spaghetti noodles. She would eat one and put one on the noodle. This took intense concentration.

Daddy competed in the Dragon Boat races in Montgomery, this was a huge charity event. Very neat!! We had a blast. In between cheering for Daddy MaKenna enjoyed the splash pad.

Zach rowed on the Auburn Team that had pretty good times but competition was tight. They received a consolation prize.
