19 Weeks

How Far Along: 19 weeks
Weight Gain: 10lbs
Maternity clothes: Tops defiantly. Still wearing my regular scrubs though. It is about time to go get some bigger ones you are beginning to see the outline of my stomach through them.
Stretch Marks: Still no new ones. I was in Wal-mart yesterday in the lotion aisle and this mother and daughter were in the same aisle. The Daughter looked to be older than my mother and then there was the mother. I over heard them and they were looking for Mother's Friend Lotion. I felt it my obligation to be nice and tell them you won't find it anywhere you have to ask the pharmacy to order it for you. The Mother then said, " I have five kids and not a stretch mark on me! Would you like to know my trick." I have course wanted to hear it right away b/c I am willing to try anything. She said, " I had a very attentive, and caring husband who every night would rub lotion on my legs, stomach and back for me. " I said, "Well would you please talk to my husband then. " The daughter then piped up and said I have stretch marks all over my body! They just don't make husbands like they used to. I came home and told Zach that story and he just laughed so I guess I will continue to put the greasy cocoa butter on myself! :)
Belly Button: Innie
Sleep: Get up like Clock work every night 1230, 0330, and 0530 and then I get up at 0600 for good
Baby Movement: Baby B is beginning to Move a whole lot more. Zach is getting very upset b/c I can't tell him before it moves so that he can feel it. So last night He just left his hand on my stomach and he felt Baby B but he said he wasn't sure if it was the baby or just my stomach moving He also jumped about the time he/she moved so I don't know how much of the split second movement he felt.
Food Cravings: I believe I could eat Chips and Salsa from a Mexican restaurant everyday!! If the scale would allow it. But I figure since I have gained 2 lbs each week for the last 2 weeks I had better limit my Mexican intake

Looking Forward  To: This Thursday  we get to see Baby B again and find out if it is a he or a she!!!!
Milestones: This week Baby B is about 6in long and about a half a pound in weight, about the size of a large mango. He/She is now covered in Vernix Caseosa (which looks like cheese) that protects it from the surrounding amniotic fluid  So that it won't look like it has been soaking in the bath tub for nine months.

 This week is a BIG week in the Burton household. We find out on Thursday what Baby B will be and then on Friday we are supposed to Close on our new house. Soo Exciting. Not sure if we will get any sleep this week.
